Buffalo Featured in Fast Company

Mark Wilson, a writer for the website Fast Company, recently wrote an article titled A Simple Card Game Designed to Rewrite Gender and Racial Stereotypes— and that card game happens to be Buffalo! Wilson reviews Mary’s work at Tiltfactor and the many research studies that went into designing the game. Wilson also pulls back the curtain on the pro-social purpose of the game, stating that even if you can’t come up with a “Multiracial Superhero” or a “Female Visionary” that “That’s okay. In fact, that’s often the point.” Buffalo is a game that challenges you to confront what you don’t know, and hopefully walk away from the table having learned something new!
